SAAB NG900 AND OG9-3 Trionic
The Trionic 7 unit in your original generation 9-3 is located in the passenger side footwell. To remove it;
Remove the 10mm bolt at the bottom right side of the glove box
Peel the door weatherstrip away from the front edge of the door opening
Remove or lift up the passenger side rocker panel trim
Pull the carpet forward to expose the engine control unit
Swing down and away the Trionic 7 harness connector
Remove the screw holding the ECU in its bracket (typically 8mm screw or T20/T25 screw)
Pull the unit straight down and it will slide out of its bracket
